Denplan

Denplan is the UK’s leading dental payment plan, offering a wide-ranging support service both in the UK and abroad. They support patients by allowing them to budget for their private dental care and encourage a preventive approach to oral healthcare. The only exceptions are those that are purely aesthetic and not necessary for maintaining oral health, as well as laboratory fees, where applicable.

Denplan Care

Denplan Care is a monthly payment plan which helps you pay for your routine and restorative dental treatment.
The amount you pay is decided by your dentist after an initial assessment of your oral health (for which you may be charged) and how much dental care you will need. You will be placed into one of five fee bands (A-E).
Denplan Care includes worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover (Supplementary Insurance) and access to Denplans 24-Hour Worldwide Dental Emergency Helpline.

Routine and restorative dental care includes:

Check-ups.
Hygiene treatment (including scaling and polishing).
Dental X-rays.
Necessary fillings.

Any necessary extractions.
Periodontal (gum) treatment
Crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays (excluding laboratory fees)
Root canal treatment.

Denplan Care does not cover:

Laboratory fees and prescriptions.
Any treatment excluded by the dentist in your contract which is payable by you at the private fee rates.
Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment.
Treatment carried out anywhere other than by your registered dentist, except when you need temporary emergency dental treatment
Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment.
Sedation fees.

Monthly rates are set out below. An individual oral health assessment is needed to determine the correct category.

The Denplan Care rate covers all routine treatment, including hygienist appointments as prescribed by your dentist and dental check-ups. Charges for prescriptions and laboratory work apply. Denplan Care includes emergency treatment within the UK and abroad.

Denplan Essentials includes dental check-ups and X-rays, as well as a 10% discount on treatments (excluding implants).

Fair enough had to fill in a med form stating what medication am currently on for the surgery. However was surprised that the dentist had actually taken time out to read it 🙂 so he knew everything about me. Should of gone private years ago....

It's been almost 8 years with Lockswood Dental Practice for my family now. We found Dr Philip Jack a very experienced yet humble doctor. The dental services deserve five stars. Another thing which requires explicit mention is , Dr Jack is a very honest Doctor.
